The impregnation of the work has always been a fixed point and this has meant having a “concept,” an intent and thus a “quid” to be transferred into the artistic gesture, whether pictorial or digital.

I happily experimented with Bio Well equipment and radiesthesia, and then came to know Dr. Daniele Gullà, with whom I did spectrophotometric analysis on March 17, 2023 with his Hygenia – Device instrumentation.

Imagining the work also has effects, but it all depends on one’s imaginative abilities, that is, on being able to recreate the experience of the “first time,” of the sensations experienced … as well as remembering the details.

Imaginative training should be a subject of study in school, don’t you think?

For me, making works, which do not mirror an inner malaise is essential.

I neither want to sell nor divulge pain/pathos.

For years I have burned drawings and scraped canvases to avoid injecting discomfort.

Today I am able to create with lightness of mind and Integral Alignment, the ART OF THE SPIRIT comes from visions, insights and meditative writing.

Following is an excerpt from the test dossier conducted by Dr. Daniele Gullà on 8 volunteers. For the occasion I have chosen to show digital and pictorial works.

The work in this post (Digitalart – Apocalypse Series, III Seal on VIII) was shown to Barbara Z. and the images, triptych, depict the stages of the experiment with her. A couple of hours later I receive this testimonial by email:

“I give you an account of what I experienced this morning as promised. In the first part I saw a very strong light in a manner external to my body that blinded me so much that I had to close my eyes, but with a very strong sense of peace. In the second part, on the other hand, this light I saw inside my body and more specifically from the stomach down, this time, besides giving me peace it gave me a powerful inner serenity. I will tell you more, on the way home, while I was driving, I had the image of the work sharp and even now it continues to dazzle me; it may be that it remains even after


The experiment was carried out by testing 8 people at three different times.

The chosen environment a room lit with diffuse natural light of modest intensity. People were brought in one at a time made to sit near a table where Mya Lurgo’s artwork was later placed.

In the first phase the work was absent, the seated person was measured with Hygenia camera taking three separate measurements in the absence of visual stimuli (subject relaxed facing white wall).

In the three measurements taken, all biosignals emitted by the body (frequencies) related to head micromovements, blood flow variability (cardiovascular) rib cage expansion activity (breathing analysis) are detected.

In the second step, the work that Mya had chosen to show to the subject to be admired was introduced and checked what the emotional impact and any measurable psychophysiological reaction might be. Here again, three measurements of the subject were collected by monitoring the described parameters.

Finally, in the third step, about 1 hour after the above test, the measurements were repeated, but instead of the work being visible, the subject was asked to imagine it by visualizing it.

A total of 3 measurements were taken for 8 people for a total of 72 measurements.

The parameters and images were saved on the device and then later downloaded to the computer for analysis. The data collected cover the energy and frequencies measured in three areas and the main peaks detected that we could also observe live during the tests.

Of the subject images that will be shown in the text, we chose to present the photograph taken in infrared thermal band that represents the average of the image stack.

The source image is monochromatic, the colors that will be seen represent the back-photoscattering of photons from the body. So how the energy radiates into and around the body. Greater amount of flux, greater intensity of biosignals, while spatial location and color, represent the

direction and frequency encoded in a pseudocolor scale of which below is an example representation.

Normally the values found on the body are between about 60 and 200 as intensity, but they can go to full scale, 256 or to 0 in special and specific cases related to a particular emotional state or disease condition.

All data will be shown including graphical scattering of FFT frequencies and peaks detected in Hz with relative energy. It is natural that there are fluctuations between measurements, and when there are many data, it is complex to make a statistical evaluation of a “visual” nature, that is, to interpret them by simple observation. For this reason I have implemented for statistical analysis a software built especially for me by a physicist/mathematician who has great experience in this field with several scientific publications.

All this was done to make a final evaluation of the experiment with characterization on the mathematical level and of certain and incontrovertible data and thus give this experiment a value as close as possible to the traditional scientific one.
For the polynomial evaluation of the frequency data collected during the tests, the computational system uses the multilevel analysis of what is called the “R2 framework index,” which is a very significant parameter.


Comparison of the data with multivariate statistics showing the different parameters of the subjects’ frequencies in the three separate periods of tests performed, were based on statistics of the average detected energy, FFT spectral frequencies, measured peak detections, and peak detection migration.

The result showed that all 8 subjects changed their frequency parameters (related to psychophysiological state) while viewing the works.

The same phenomenon did not occur with just imagining them. However, with imagination alone, 6 out of 8 subjects showed a significant change in psychoemotional state in recalling them to memory.


From the campaign of tests carried out on 8 subjects in three successive phases, where for each phase three tests were taken with the HSI Hygenia camera, for a total of 24 acquisitions, the following emerged.

Virtually all subjects showed changes with respect to the induced stimuli, “opera vision” and “suggestion” guided by Mya Lurgo. One subject responded less significantly than the others, but still had a response.

Spectral patterns of bioscattering of light/biophotons emitted in the infrared were found to be changed, with appreciable differences between the action of objective “opera vision,” and pure “imagination” by suggestion. In both cases, compared with the starting point, “absence of stimulus,” subjects show changes.

The frequencies emitted and in particular those associated with the cardiovascular and respiratory areas turn out to be different. Almost always there was an improvement in respiration and blood perfusion.

From the sophisticated processing of the FFT data and the peaks retrieved with correlated statistical analysis software, what emerges and is worthy of further investigation is the difference between real vision of the work and imagination.

Imagination appears to have effects of a mostly psychoemotional nature, while objective viewing, of a psychophysical nature by going on to improve the homeostasis of the subjects.

In other words, by observing the work live, one can experience a real and objective sensation of improved perceived well-being, which is not only a sensation but also a real parametric condition, in that, respiratory and cardiac activities tend to normalize.

The emerging new and interesting fact is that all subjects appear interrelated after viewing the work, as if the work itself emits some form of “electromagnetic energy” of synchronization. It would be interesting to explore this topic further. (D. GULLÀ)
